Optimalisasi Pengelolaan TPA di Desa Singopuran Melalui Program Pendampingan Terpadu Mahasiswa KKN UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta

Qur'anic Education Centers (Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an/TPA) in Singopuran Village, Kartasura District face two major challenges: an imbalanced ratio between students and teachers, and a lack of varied teaching methods, resulting in ineffective Qur'anic learning. This community service program aimed to optimize the management of six TPA units through integrated mentoring by KKN students from UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Activities were carried out over four weeks during Ramadan 2026 through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. KKN students contributed as teaching assistants while implementing interactive methods such as ice breaking, educational games, and visual media. As a result, students showed increased participation, enthusiasm, and self-confidence, and the learning environment became more conducive. This program has strong potential as a model for efficient and sustainable TPA empowerment in Singopuran Village. Keywords: TPA; KKN; optimization; Qur’anic learning.
