Abstract

Human rights are an important thing in providing a sense of security for a person's life, including people with mental disorders or people with autism, so to provide a sense of security there is a need for regulations and rights that must be fulfilled, but up to now it appears that there is still a lack of fulfillment of rights. for them. Purposes of the research know and see the effectiveness and enforceability of regulations and the rights of people with autism have been fulfilled. This research uses normative legal research methods with case study, conceptual, legislative and literature studies approaches to determine the fulfillment of the rights of people with autism. Based on this analysis it was found by ratifying the conventions on the rights of persons with disabilities, which specifically includes persons with autism, the state has the responsibility to guarantee the fulfillment of those rights, however, up to now there are still many who have not felt the fulfillment of them, including the fulfillment of the right to obtain work, adequate education, The right not to be discriminated against, even though in this case the government is always trying to fulfill it through ratification or changing laws and regulations, the state should also be involved in fulfilling these rights directly and in contact with people with autism.
